The SCHP Community Relations, Recruiting, and FOIA (CRRF) Unit oversees the following responsibilities:

COMMUNITY RELATIONS OFFICERS (CROs) – CROs handle public information and media requests, community events across the state and highway safety education efforts to reduce traffic deaths.

FOIA – All Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests received from the public and the media are received and processed through this office.

RECRUITING – This unit recruits top talent who are looking to enter or continue their law enforcement career with the SC Highway Patrol.
